1. Data controller
The data controller is the sole trader who publishes TremplinCV (SIREN 108 343 732). For any question about your data, write to contact@tremplincv.fr.
2. Data we collect
Your email address (when creating an account), the information you enter in your resumes (background, experience and skills) and technical operational data.
If you use the contact form, we store your name if provided, your email address, the reason for your message and its content. A technical fingerprint of your IP address is used to limit abusive submissions; the raw IP address is not stored with your message.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Performance of the service you requested: creating your account, storing your resumes, AI suggestions, PDF export, managing your credits and any subscription.
- Legitimate interest: service security, limiting abusive use (for example the number of AI requests) and anonymous audience measurement to improve the site.
- Legal obligation: keeping payment records for accounting purposes.
Contact messages are used to handle your requests and feedback about the service.
4. Processors and recipients
To provide the service, your data is processed by providers:
- Website hosting: OVH (France).
- Database and authentication: Supabase (data hosted in the European Union).
- Account emails (confirmation, password): OVH (France).
- AI text generation: OpenAI (United States). The necessary content of your resume or job ad is sent to produce suggestions. When you import a resume, the full text of the document, including contact details, is sent so it can be structured.
- Payment: Stripe Payments Europe (Ireland), for paid plans. TremplinCV never receives your card details.
Your data is neither resold nor used for advertising.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
AI suggestions involve processing by OpenAI in the United States, and Stripe may transfer some payment data to its US parent company. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided by the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. Your account and resumes remain stored in the European Union (Supabase).
6. Retention
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account from your account area: your resumes, photos, credits and history are then erased from our database immediately. Payment records are kept by Stripe for accounting obligations.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. To exercise them, write to contact@tremplincv.fr.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
8. Cookies and audience measurement
We only use cookies necessary for the service to function (authentication). No advertising cookies are set.
Audience measurement uses Umami, hosted on our own server in France: it sets no cookies and keeps no data that could identify you.
