A useful resume starts with accurate information, not an empty page. TremplinCV helps you organize your experience, write clearer descriptions and prepare a document you can review before sending. You remain in control of the facts and the final wording. Review every suggestion before you export: you remain responsible for the final content.
Start with what you already know
Describe the role you want, your most recent positions, your education and the skills you actually use. You do not need a polished paragraph to begin: a few precise notes give the assistant useful material to work with.
If you already have a resume, import a text-based PDF or DOCX instead of copying everything again. Check the extracted information against the original, especially dates, company names and descriptions that came from separate columns.
A guided intake can also help you collect the essentials when you are starting from scratch. Explain your contribution, the context and any result you can support. Keep qualifications and responsibilities accurate even when a shorter phrase sounds more impressive.
Decide which language the document should use separately from the interface language. A resume should suit the position and the recipient; changing the site's language should not silently translate your personal information.
What the AI helps you do
The assistant helps turn your notes into a structured draft and suggests clearer wording for your experience. It can make a sentence more direct, reduce repetition and help explain a contribution in terms a recruiter can understand.
The information you provide remains the source of truth. The assistant should not add a qualification, invent an employer or turn a shared task into a management responsibility. Review suggestions with the same care you would apply to a draft written by another person.
Specific input produces more useful wording. Mention the tools, stakeholders, frequency or deliverable when those details are relevant and accurate. If you cannot explain a claim in an interview, remove it rather than making it sound more confident.
- ✓Organize the information you provide
- ✓Make experience descriptions easier to read
- ✓Review and edit each proposed sentence
Review the draft before using it
Read the headline, summary and most recent experience together. They should describe the same level of responsibility and point toward the same kind of role. A strong opening makes the rest of the document easier to interpret.
Check names, dates, locations, contact details and language levels. Compare any imported information with your original file. Correct missing or merged lines before working on the appearance of the resume.
Read your experience bullets aloud. Long sentences, vague verbs and repeated claims often become more obvious this way. Prefer a straightforward description you can defend over a polished phrase that changes the meaning of your work.
Choose a layout that supports the content
Once the information is coherent, compare the available templates. The editor includes understated ATS-friendly layouts as well as more visual designs. The right choice depends on how you intend to submit the document.
For an application platform, start with a simple structure and inspect the final PDF. For a resume sent directly to a person, a more expressive design can work when the text remains selectable and the reading order stays clear.
A template cannot repair an unclear description or a missing date. Finish the essential content first, then use the preview to check spacing, line breaks and page boundaries.
Create for free and decide at export
You can create and preview your resume for free. A clean PDF export is available through export credits or the monthly plan, depending on your needs. Prices and limits are detailed on the pricing page.
Review the result before deciding to pay. Check the structure, the last lines of each page and the consistency of the information. An export does not replace a final check of a phone number, a date or a sentence that overstates your experience.
Keep a copy of the final version you send. If the position requires a different emphasis later, return to the editor and review the new version before exporting again.
