What no ATS check can guarantee
No score can reproduce a recruitment system or a recruiter's decision exactly. Matching words do not prove a skill. Review every recommendation and keep only information that is true about your experience.
The file stays in memory during the request. It is not saved to Supabase, sent to AI or added to analytics.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an official score used by recruiters?
No. This is a deterministic check of readability and structure. It does not reproduce a recruiter's ranking or the behavior of a specific ATS.
Is my resume stored?
No. The file and text are processed in memory during the request, with no account, database or AI call.
Why doesn't a scanned PDF work?
A scan contains an image rather than selectable text. Export your resume from a text editor or extract its text before trying again.
Should I add every missing word from the job description?
No. The comparison is lexical and does not measure your abilities. Only add skills and experience that reflect your actual background.
Is a two-page resume necessarily bad?
No. The useful length depends on your experience and content. The check mainly assesses whether the document remains extractable, structured and readable.
